The Longshank Blowback Rig

1) Take 6 inches of supple braided hooklength and tie an overhand loop

 

2) Attach your chosen hookbait

3) Thread on a round rig ring I find this easier to do with a baiting needle.

 

4) Secure the ring with a overhand knot roughly an inch away from the bait.

 

5) Run the braid parallel to the shank of the hook down through the eye and proceed to tie a knotless knot

 

6) Adding shrink tubing is down to personal preference I choose not to
