Zig Rig

The Zig Rig

Part 1 – To make my zig rig, you will require a zig line, size 4 SPT wide gape hook, hook stop, 360 bait screw, dragonfly aligner, 10mm of a silicone sleeve, scissors and a couple of rig pulling tools.

Part 2 – Peel off approximately 2 feet of zig line. Slide on the dragonfly aligner. Attach the size 4 SPT wide gape hook with a grinner knot. Don’t forget to moisten the knot before tightening. Trim off any excess.

Part 3 – On to the hook, thread on the 360 bait screw and the hook stop. Position the hook stop in the middle of the bend.

Part 4 – Peel of your required length of zig line and create a 2″ loop at the end using a figure of 8 loop knot. Don’t forget to moisten the knot before tightening.

Part 5 – Thread on the 10mm silicone sleeve and trim of any excess zig line. You have now created my version of the zig rig without using any fake bait, all that you need now is your pop up.
